Hello Akron

I am officially here now. Hip Hip Hooray! Akron, Pennsylvania. Headquarters of MCC. A town of about 4,000. There are about 114 people here for orientation. Including Calah (think Kayla) who is going to Viet Nam with me, who also happens to be my roommate here. At one point today I thought, this is way too overwhelming. I cannot interact with all these people and try to prep to live in Viet Nam for a year and think about everything there is to think about. But then I remembered, oh yeah, I haven't really slept much in two days. It turns out the easy solution to being overwhelmed was to take a nap during free time. And it worked! Afterwards I felt much better and much more prepared to converse with these strangers who are all in the same place I am. Isn't it amazing the difference a little bit of sleep can make!?
